While organic cotton is a great start, we go further by using eco-friendly dyeing methods. Here’s what sets our dyeing process apart:
Natural Dyes: We primarily use natural dyes derived from plants, minerals, or insects. These dyes offer unique earthy tones and are generally gentler on the environment and your skin.
Safer mordant: We avoid heavy metal mordant and opt for safer alternatives like alum or tannin to ensure the dyes bond effectively without harming the environment.
Look for certifications like GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) on our products. These independent certifications verify that our organic cotton and dyeing practices meet strict environmental and ethical standards.

Your 100% organic cotton clothes are kind to your skin and the planet, and a little attention will keep them looking their best for longer. Here is a quick guide

Washing

Cool it down: Use cold water (30°C or less) to minimize shrinkage and fading.

Gentle cycle: Opt for a delicate or hand-wash cycle to avoid harsh agitation.

Turn it inside out: This protects the fabric and keeps colors vibrant.

Wash with similar colors: Avoid color bleed by grouping similar hues.

Eco-friendly detergent: Choose a mild, phosphate-free detergent designed for delicate fabrics.

Skip the softener: Fabric softeners can coat the fibers and reduce absorbency.

Drying

Air dry whenever possible: This is the gentlest option and saves energy.

Tumble dry on low heat: If necessary, use the lowest heat setting and remove promptly to prevent wrinkles.

Reshape while damp: Smooth out any wrinkles while the garment is still slightly damp.

Ironing

Iron on low heat: If needed, use a low heat setting and avoid ironing directly on embellishments.
